I didn't get the chance to thank you and your team for all your hard work on Sunday. Brian and I wish to thank you so much for providing the most enjoyable lunch for us on October 4th in celebration of our Golden Wedding.

It was a wonderful day for us with our family and friends around us despite the atrocious weather! Everyone enjoyed the hot buffet and the puddings - we had so many compliments about the quality of the food from our guests. You do everything in such a clam and efficient way, which we so mush admire. We know a lot of work goes on behind the scenes for which we thank you and your staff.

Just a short note to thank you for the food and service last Saturday.

The general comment was "excellent" and I agree fully.

The Sticky Toffee Pudding which I did remember to take home was the best I have ever tasted, so much so when you are next making one could you make a small one for me, about 10 portions or so along with sauce (hopefully in time for Christmas).

One of the Staveley members has asked me to pass on your number as they have a much bigger race night in Kendal.

I will be in touch in the New Year to make sure we get you bookend first for the coming season.

May I thank you for the variety of menus and both the quality and quantity of food provided - everyone has spoken most highly of your "care for the inner man"!

Cath, on behalf of the organising committee and particularly myself (as 'johnny on the spot' at the time) may I give a BIG THANK YOU for stepping in and resolving the snag we'd hit those few days before the IAGM when the School caterer pulled out of doing the breakfasts and packed lunches. When I heard that you'd said you'd do the breakfasts and lunches my sigh of relief must have been heard at Docker Hall!!

It was a great comfort to have the kitchen in such capable hands and again many thanks for looking after us so well.
